I have had my PVW with PlusNet for a couple of months now and I have never had the restart to re-establish a connection. Presumably the link has not been 100%, so I had assumed that the router must re-establish the connection automatically.
Today (at about 21:45) the PPPoA status was cycling between 'enabled, down' and 'enabled, up phase=Dead'. I waited for 1 hour and when the connection did not re-establish, I restarted and everything was fine again and the status was 'open for IP'.
Is this normal behaviour?
