Dear Solwise
Because of my issue with DNS, see previous thread, I thought I would try upgrading to the latest firmware.
However this seems to cause the ASUS to have intermittent lookup problems, to such an extent that the PC light stops flashing even though the corresponding one on the Hub continues to flash.
I have now reverted back to the old firmware.
My set up is:
ISP Eclipse
DNS Relay on
Get IP etc from ISP
DHCP server running
Port mapping for WinMx (tcp 6699 and udp 6257)

Update:
As no one else has reported problems with the software, I thought I would try again.
I have upgraded to the new firmware and it appears that my router only locks up if I use DNS forwarding.
Since I have put my ISPs DNS servers IPs into the DHCP server, everything seems fine.
So it would seem that the upgrade has made the DNS forwarding problem worse.
Perhaps the developers were trying to fix it?
Although not vital, I'm one of those people who likes to have all facilities working, regardless of whether I use them or not. You never know when they might come in useful in the future.
Do we know if this is going to be fixed in the next firmware?

No we don't know if this will be fixed in the next firmware. However, personally I wish DNS relay had never been added to the firmware in the first place! Especially as access is faster using a direct DNS anyway. One option is I ask Asus to take it out altogether untill they have a bug free version.

Is 71205A1 supported for BIs, or is it EV only at the moment ?? I've just flashed a BI and it's dropped into a console saying "No, or bad, ATMOS image" so I suspect it isn't supported.
Sounds like some playing with Xmodem and 6030bi-uk-solwise.hex may be in order :-)
What's the best time and number to ring if I need a hand ??

The flash upgrade has gone fine on my 2 EVs. Can you try and get a BI version please ??

The exact problem that I had. I ended up downgrading to the old firmware again as I wasn't really in a trouble fixing kinda mood.
You are not alone :)
