Is there a fireware update for SEC-C1002-IR

Hi All
I have a SEC-C1002W-IR which I am using with the following urls:

For video
http://192.168.1.100:1100/videostrea...=****&pwd=****

For pictures
http://192.168.1.100:1100/snapshot.c...=****&pwd=****

Works well with CCTV software.

The next camera I purchase from you was SEC-C1002-IR without wireless. It dose not have videostream.cgi, and the snapshot.cgi requires user to enter username and password each time it is used.

This does not work as I cannot enter the username and password in the URL?

I am hoping there is a fireware upgrade for this camera?

The version number of wireless camera SEC-C1002W-IR are:
Device ID 00051DE85080
Device Firmware Version 0.12.1.21
Device Embeded Web UI Version 0.1.1.20

The version number of wire camera SEC-C1002-IR are:
Device ID 000C5D03003C
Device Firmware Version 0.2.1.15
Device Embeded Web UI Version 0.0.1.12

Ok dont quote me on this but I do remember the chap who deals with this here saying there was a firmware comming so as soon as it is here we will pop
it on the website for you to download.

*** Now this is the bit you may not like if you 'brick' the unit while putting new firmware on it is not coverd under warranty for that. So please think about this before doing it***

ISTR... the later 'W' and non-'W' camera are actually the same hardware; the difference is whether the wifi board is installed or not. To that end I think you can run both units with the same f/w (just the wifi settings won't operate on the non-W).

Let me check with the manufacturers.

Okay... this is long and involved!

First off, it IS the same f/w for the later W and non-W camera.

Now you need to upgrade the f/w...

The latest firmware version:

* Device Firmware Version** 0.x.x.33
* Device Embeded Web UI Version** 0.x.x.29

You need to update :*
Device ID** 00051DE85080
Device Firmware Version** 0.12.1.21* ==>** lr_cmos_0_2_1_33.bin
Device Embeded Web UI Version** 0.1.1.20 ** ==>** aw_0_4_1_29.bin

Device ID** 000C5D03003C
Device Firmware Version** 0.2.1.15* ==>** lr_cmos_0_2_1_33.bin
Device Embeded Web UI Version** 0.0.1.12*** ==>** aw_0_4_1_29.bin

Then, ref. user authentication.

For Snapshot:
http://www.ipcamera.com.tw:8206/snap...ser=guest&pwd=

Server Push Video Stream on Firefox:
http://www.ipcamera.com.tw:8206/vide...ser=guest&pwd=

admin is the user name
password is blank by default

Does that make sence for you?
