Thinks seemed to have moved on - in the good ol' / bad ol'days (?) the 0x00 regulatory domain was treated as a wild-card and generally opened things out (from a linux perspective - madwifi and all that). This is no longer the case. A, some would say, more restrictive linux regulatory regime maps 0x00 to the US which is not much good to Europeans (from a wifi point of view I hasten to add). Any views?
